So, let’s be fair. We constantly dig on Activision and Neversoft for their corpse fucking rehashing Guitar Hero over and over again without adding much innovation. So let’s give props: They did innovate in Guitar Hero 4 with the Music Studio (despite the fact it hasn’t really shattered any expectations: not much has come out it), and with open bass notes.
Well, this may or may not count as an interesting innovation, depending on how cynical you are: Check out out this video above of DJ Hero melding with Guitar Hero for a Foo Fighter/Beastie mashup that’s fairly rocking. Does this change your mind on DJ Hero at all?
